Why blend these fibers?
Blends of superwash merino and nylon are extremely popular due to their softness, durability and affordability. Creating this blend is in keeping with our goal to always strive to push the limits and seek the beauty of perfecting the simplest things. There’s a lot of variability in the quality of superwash merino, in terms of both the wool itself and the sustainability of how its made. We were able to find high quality superwash merino that is made in a sustainable way that preserves the characteristics of merino with the benefits of the superwashing process.
There are many kind of nylons that are made in different ways. Faux cashmere has the elasticity and durability nylon is known for. Its made in a unique way that makes it even softer. Combined with superwash merino, it makes a luxuriously soft blend that can withstand daily use.
The superwash merino and faux cashmere are balanced perfectly, and it spins easily.
