Why blend these fibers?
Our approach to creating vegan blends is simple. Maximize the unique properties of the cellulose fibers while finding the perfect nylon to complement the cellulose fibers and bind them together. Crimp helps hold wool together, and cellulose fibers have no crimp. Nylon is the logical solution, and our nylon comes from Europe where manufacturing standards are very high.
Flax or linen is unique in that it gets softer with more wear. A quality it shares with mint fiber. Faux cashmere adds its softness and smoothness. The result is a long lasting blend that will get even softer over time.
Like all our blends, it drafts very easily and almost spins itself. Both the mint and flax have a very long staple length and require very careful attention to the draft zone.
